Sink Side Compost: In a open crock I keep my used coffee grounds and my used eggshells (microwave shells for 1 minute to eliminate bacteria). The grounds should dry, then during early spring I treat my acid loving plants... azaleas, rhododendrons, hydrangeas and evergreens... to a couple of handfuls around the base.
