Our gardens are delightful!
If you love to cultivate, or just wish to make believe that you're relaxing in a bit of our flowery heaven, take this tour!

Our trees and giant evergreens swarm with singing and nesting birds. Fragrance charms at every step. There are romantic swings and the big deck perfect for lazing around. The antique wrought iron fence that surrounds the inn twines with morning glories, moon flowers and climbing hydrangea while the varied daylilies shine their happy faces through the grates. Mallow, monarda, purple coneflowers and much more peek through and kiss the walkways.

There are layers and layers of texture and color rising from the 100s of feet of 8 foot wide borders.

It's gigantic.

It's been wonderful to watch the summer perennial borders change and mature through our 20 years at The Manor. Sometimes the daisies take over, sometimes the hollyhocks, always the lythrum. We've begun to get looser and looser about the need to control it.
It is exuberant and uninhibited. A bit like us. :-)
